
Courtney Blankenship, Au.D.
Board-Certified Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Blankenship attended the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where she received her bachelor’s degree in communication science disorders. She completed her doctorate in audiology at Indiana University and then returned to her hometown, Burlington, North Carolina, to complete her residency with Alamance Ear, Nose and Throat.
Dr. Blankenship’s professional career has given her the opportunity to live in Atlanta, Georgia, and Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she worked alongside neurotologists to serve a diverse patient population. These sophisticated clinical settings allowed her to challenge and strengthen her diagnostic and rehabilitative skills. Dr. Blankenship specializes in adult aural rehabilitation, vestibular diagnostics and implantable devices such as bone-anchored hearing aids and cochlear implants. Dr. Blankenship has a strong passion for personal growth and is intentional about taking every opportunity to learn more about the field of audiology. She always strives to use evidence-based practices and believes that a patient’s hearing health care should be individualized for their unique lifestyle and goals.
Outside of the office, Dr. Blankenship enjoys going to the gym, building Legos while she watches the latest Netflix series and spending time with her family, friends and pets! Dr. Blankenship is excited to join the SE Kentucky Audiology team and is looking forward to supporting her patients on their journey to better hearing.
